Simon Spedding was born at Woodbeck, Retford in Nottinghamshire England in 1962. if you want to read about Simon and the Speds click on the following links

The Speddings moved to Yate near Bristol in 1966

The Speds moved to Kidlington near Oxford in 1969 then northwards to the village of Scawby near Brigg  (Lincolnshire) from 1972-78. 1978 saw the southern move to Semington between Melksham and Trowbridge  in Wiltshire.

After a few moves around Wiltshire after leaving home Simon met and married Mandy and they went to Trowbridge in 1984 before moving to Yate  in 2000. In between time they managed to have 3 kids. 

Both Mandy and Simon took up running seriously in 1994 having dabbled in the past.
